With your help, I will be able to create a safe, affirming space for students where they will receive coping skills psychoeducation and an engaging environment in which to practice those skills! It is imperative we teach children how to manage their emotions in healthy ways to promote self-love, esteem and conflict resolution. Learning coping skills as early as possible in the child's life promotes resiliency, problem-solving and improves academic success. Students will have an opportunity to engage in coping and self-regulation by way of touch, taste, smell, sight and sound in this special space!

About my class
