Through dramatic play environments we create the conditions where process and content are woven together, as they are in our everyday lives. The process of areas of language (reading, writing,listening) are naturally integrated as the children focus on the content areas of social studies and science in a social situation. The students will use the kitchen to enable interaction with each other, thereby increasing their communication and social skills. As the year goes on the structure will change and include writing, reading and social interaction. Many of our students have English as a second language. This opportunity to interact will be beneficial.

About my class
