My students have worked hard on their speech and language goals all year! I want to be able to help them finish strong by providing virtual speech therapy for the remainder of the school year! I will be able to provide more effective virtual speech therapy with these items! By having this computer and headset, I will be able to hear and see them better- and hopefully vice versa- during a virtual therapy session. Although our school district provides us with laptops, the quality of sound and picture are not the best making it difficult to provide quality services. It is important for the speech therapist to be able to hear precisely what a student is saying as well as see what they are doing with their mouths to provide adequate feedback. I am also hoping that the headset cuts out some of the background noises that are heard around my house while trying to provide a student with services.
