Amazon Fire tablets will be a valuable addition to the tools our 5th grade students use to keep learning engaging and meaningful. The sturdy cases will help insure their use for quite some time. We know that technology is an integral part of the 21st century classroom both on campus and via remote learning. Students expand their ability to research , create, publish, and explore through the use of technology. Students will use these tablets in both Science and Social Studies classes to create video/audio presentations, publish their writing, explore and research for STEAM projects, and producing short movies on relevant student chosen topics. I feel certain that our students will inspire me with the additional applications they come up with, that I could not have imagined, while using this medium.
