In our Kindergarten class, we use technology daily for individually-paced instruction in reading and math small groups. In addition, I plan to provide my students the opportunity to make choices in how to gather information and present what they have learned. My Kinders are not comfortable using mouse touch pads, and although we have been blessed with 6 laptops, we do not have a mouse to go with each device, or headphones to ensure student are not distracted. With the addition of comfortable seating and headphones, as well as a easy to use computer mouse, my students can focus on learning and enrichment. They will have a special place in the room to explore, and will be able to work in groups to present what they have learned.
