Science, Technology, Engineering, Math = STEM My goal is to have STEM Fridays, where we can do a different STEM activity every Friday. I am trying to build up my STEM resources in my classroom. LEGOs, gears, magnets, and more will help give my students the opportunity to challenge themselves and their thinking. STEM activities encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence. These activities will help to nurture their independence and create valuable discussion among my students. They will get to create their own designs, make models of objects that really work, do challenging experiments that might not work. They will learn that mistakes can lead to an even better learning opportunity. I want to be able to put STEM Friday into my routines but need these materials in order to do so.
