During small group time, I plan for hands on activities and many times include whiteboard instruction, which is why I included expo markers. I also want to create a safe working environment to keep students at school and learning in-person so I included masks on my wish list to keep us learning together. I incorporated in my wish list a couple of sets of magnetic letters to help my newcomer students from Central America and the Caribbean learn their letters and sounds. I also included literacy books that will help multiple students with mixed abilities increase their understanding of literacy. These literacy books will help me differentiate my lessons and small group time to give students what they need.
