Due to the nature of their disabilities, my students have a very difficult time in school, not only with their academics, but everything else that goes along with being in a classroom. These children are frequently frustrated, distracted, overwhelmed or hyper which makes sitting at a desk and listening to instruction incredibly difficult. The books will help my students identify and manage their emotions. The seating options and tools will provide them with an opportunity to choose where and how to work so they can be the most successful. Having a variety of books and tools will not only help prevent boredom, but it will allow them to be able to try and discover different methods to see what works best for their amazing, individual self. Thank you for making this a reality!
