The Mathematics courses I teach are rigorous, college level courses that challenge students with various learning levels. In the environment where distance learning is not part of the norm, it is important that the students and teacher have resources which will make distance learning productive. A document camera and digital writing pen will assist the teacher and students create lessons and presentations which will make quality distance learning instruction and presentations a reality. By having this technology, the teacher and students will be better able to communicate with each other and create content that can be shared online. The teacher (myself) and students can create videos of them working specific examples with audio. The digital pen can be used with computers and laptops on a flat surface to write in much the same way as a stylus pen.
