My students show their learning in a variety of ways, so it is important that I give them many meaningful opportunities to do so. Having a dedicated STEAM area with supplies and room to plan, collaborate, and create will amaze! In addition, when we have the STEAM area, students can easily access the materials and continue to work on a project. I see students thrive when they have choices and creative options to show what they know and imagine! Having a place and opportunity to design, collaborate, solve problems, and express understanding uniquely is powerful for students.

About my class
