These items will help me provide an organized learning environment for my students, as well as help me teach them organizational skills. By creating an organized environment, I will be able to teach more efficiently. I will be showing them how I use organization to create structure in my classroom. Students will see and learn how being prepared and organized will help them throughout their academic career. This is also a skill they can use in their everyday life. Simple tools, like the ones I am requesting, can help increase learning time and grades while decreasing frustration due to disorganization. I plan on using binders, pencil pouch, dry erase sleeves, adhesive index card pockets to help my students keep organized in their desks and cubbies. I plan on using the file folders and metal file crate to organize students work and as a mailbox system to get their work back to them. The clear totes will be used to organize work by subject. I plan to use the three tiered cart in the front on my classroom to store books we are reading as a class as well as daily and weekly materials need for our lessons. The label maker I plan to label our supply drawers as well as many other things to keep organized in our classroom.
