All of our special needs students are doing their best learning from home. There are three Exceptional education Teachers in our school. We have to share one document camera. We all have a full schedule and need to have individual cameras to be effective. We all have virtual/remote/online teaching during this unprecedented time and sharing one device is not conducive to the environment. Our students deserve the best learning experience. This year our school was able to supply document cameras to the regular education teachers, however, there were not enough to go around. The special education students are having a very hard time with virtual learning. there is so much learning about navigating through the technology and our students are already struggling. . a document camera would take some of the navigation off of their plate, so they could have one less thing to navigate and focus on learning.
