The materials I am requesting will give my kindergartners hands-on learning experiences while they develop crucial literacy and social skills. We are working to increase our play based options and find activities and resources to get our students moving and excited about learning. The LEGO Letters will develop alphabetic and phonemic awareness while also giving students the opportunity to build and create. Adding movement to learning allows the students to use their whole body and have better focus. We will increase movement during our day with the bean bag center as well as the sight word steps. Students can develop coordination along side letter identification, sight word knowledge and math skills.
