I want to give each student their own set of Drumsticks. The drumsticks will be used at home to learn about beat and rhythm. With drumsticks, our students can learn many important elements of music: beat, rhythm, dynamics, tempo, articulation, style, and expression. These materials will make a huge impact on student's ability to use hands on learning as they explore beat, rhythm, tempo and give them a unique venue for personal expression. I believe that with some creative teaching this venue will be quite effective to motivate our children while we get through this pandemic.
