My students will be performing a project to build a solar powered robot in their homes with their families. They will have the opportunity to work hands on and test their understandings of solar power and what they can do with it! This project based learning will engage the students' own interests of how energy sources can affect our lives. Especially in a time where fossil fuel consumption is lowering and the positive effects can be seen in our communities, my students can use these experiences to further the renewable energy movement and support better choices for our climate.

About my class
