My First Grade Dual Language students have been doing an amazing job at home trying to continue their learning in the two languages, English and Spanish during these difficult times. It has not been easy for my kiddos to transition from face-to-face interaction learning to remote learning they have been facing some challenges. The IPEVO Document Camera will allow me to display text from a book, a printout, and to zoom in and out so my students can have better visibility when we do our learning via Zoom. The place value coins and the connect count number rods manipulatives will also be projected using the document camera to help students move from concrete to abstract in the math lesson. The ELD Activity cards will be used to re-enforce the writing and reading skills that my English Learners need to continue to develop. As the students continue to acquire a second language, the Tub O Spanish Word sets will help them put words together to make complete sentences and express their thoughts.
