Movement stimulates our minds - what better way to learn than to do so through movement? Allowing students a choice in their seating and in where they want to work gives them ownership over their learning. They will learn to make good decisions for themselves about where they work best and work with others to solve problems. By donating to this project, you are not only helping students focus, but you are also increasing their academic performance. When students are actively moving they are also actively learning and stimulating their minds. Flexible seating is just one way to build classroom community and encourage students to take charge of their own learning.

About my class
