This project is to help my fourth graders in the fall. There are so many books out there that I cannot get my hands on because of money. So this project will help greatly with getting those books into the hands of my fourth graders. With these new books and materials, my students will be able to choose from a variety of options that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. Being in fourth grade is not easy, and providing a safe space through books is something that I want to give my students. This year I plan on engulfing my students in books. I want to show them, through this project, what books can really do for them. This project will help me reach out to them and teach them to get lost in what they read. It would such a benefit to see them so engaged in a good read.
