The use of the document camera allows students to see work in real-time as they complete work from home. It also allows for wait time and a classroom “like” interaction. For example, problems can be presented with a pause for discussion and or calculation. The document camera is a great vehicle for student’s to express their ideas and present them to their classmates. This tool allows me to facilitate and encourage greater participation in the virtual environment. Students can continue to work collaboratively and build upon ideas just like in the classroom.
