With the recent announcement of school closures for the remainder of the year, our students have been thrust into the world of virtual learning. While there are many fantastic resources online, too much screen time is not developmentally appropriate for our young learners. In addition to virtual learning and digital resources, we want to make sure our students are engaging in hands-on activities which is crucial, if not THE most crucial part of their learning and development. These at-home learning kits will give our students access to hands-on material that they otherwise would not have. We want our students to be able to do meaningful, age-appropriate activities in the convenience of their own home. In other words, we want to bring a bit of the classroom to them!
