If my project were to get fully funded my students would come into my classroom on the first day and have everything they need for the year. They will begin the year with notebooks and folders to take notes and hold assignments. They will have a personal journal to reflect in - about academics or their personal lives - and provide them the opportunity to write everyday. My students will also be afforded the opportunity to be creative in whatever they do. With the ability to use technology, they are already exposed to digital creativity. Simply providing them with glue, markers, crayons, etc. will also give them the chance to create physical artwork in the classroom as well. They can visualize theme in a drawing, draw pictures of characters using text descriptions, create PSA posters for argument lessons. The ideas are endless!
