As a one to one school, our students are learning more about digital technology. With the help of Verizon, all of our students have access to iPads that allow them to use technology and build on the skills they need to succeed in the digital world. Introducing my students to a new way of learning with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) will enhance their learning and classroom experience. I want my students use this technology to be able to learn to interpret topographic maps and use satellite views to identify landforms and erosional features. My students will access these landform sites through the Google expedition application. With the Google Expedition kit my students will have a sense of what it would be like to actually be there.
