The nonfiction texts and supporting hands-on materials will provide my curious and inquisitive students the opportunity to explore, observe, and discover facts about the world around them while connecting with the curriculum. My goal is to provide them with quality print materials, for both guided and independent reading, and realistic hands-on resources to kindle their interests and connect them to encounters that many of them may not otherwise experience outside the walls of the classroom. By maintaining a prepared classroom that is both print-rich and plentiful in experiential opportunities for learning, I hope to instill in them a love of knowledge and discovery.
