All of us educators are experiencing something that we have never imagined. Two months ago I would have said teaching all my students online would be impossible, yet here we are. We're doing it. I experimented with many different programs to teach my students. There is a lot of technology out there, and there are many great programs to be implemented in the classroom. Using images and videos from other sources is great and can save time, but sometimes our students just need to hear it and see it from their teachers. We all know that students learn differently, so a digital camera will allow students to both hear and see the lessons being taught. This is good for our visual and auditory learners. It's a great way to introduce a lesson, explain a more difficult lesson, or summarize a lesson. In addition, it will be a wonderful tool to use for students that are absent and miss a lesson. The students would be able to view a summary or an entire lesson they missed. I have witnessed how students interact more when they are reassured by their own teachers and not just from worksheets and the internet.
