The materials requested will be given to the at-risk preschoolers in my class. The materials are hands on manipulative items that the preschooler would have had access to if the preschool was still open. Due to COVID 19 all learning is at home now. Although we sent packets home and have online instruction, some preschoolers don't have access to hands-on materials to continue there learning at home and prepare for Kindergarten. The Kindergarten Ready Kits I requested will not only help prepare the preschoolers in math and literacy skill, they will continue to feel part of our School Family. The kits include the tools needed to help teach counting, addition & subtraction, word building, handwriting and beginning reading. The tools are early years manipulatives that the preschoolers can have hands on experience to learn these important skills at home and be Ready For Kindergarten!
