These materials will help my students learn to love to read and write at home. They will each get a James and the Giant Peach book to read and a writing journal to write. We will discuss their readings every week and I want them to know that I would love for them to read along with me if their technology allows doing so. My students love to be read to, love to read on the carpet together as a class and, because we can't be together in our room, I want them to be able to feel a sense of togetherness in their own homes. We started this book together, I want to finish the book together as well.
