My name is Mr. Sergio Parejo. I am from Colombia, but I have been teaching in dual classrooms for about 6 years here in North Carolina. I am currently teaching Spanish at a K-8 Charter school in Durham, NC. This is the first year that IDYL students are receiving instruction in Spanish. It has been a little challenging to design a curriculum to fit the needs of my students. Since all of my students are eager to learn, I am more than positive that through reading I will open doors not only to knowledge, but also to a rich culture!
