The binders I am requesting will be used by all students in 5th grade to keep track of goals, growth and personal accomplishments. We plan on calling these their "Focus Binders" where it will house specifically our school's, 5th grade and classroom mission statements. Students will also use these Focus binders to track their growth, academically and behaviorally. Students will track the books they have read, test scores, attendance and daily behavior to help drive goals. Students will have personal goals as well as class goals with action steps that they will store in these binders. Lastly, students will use these Focus binders to showcase their accomplishments, achieved goals and other projects that have made them proud. These Focus binders will also help students and teachers guide conversations with parents about how they are doing at school. These binders will help students organize and prioritize their work at school and help them get ready for middle school.
