With your help, my second graders will have access to a classroom library filled with a wide array of books that they can read independently. Currently, the books they have are limited in number and many are old or outdated. Most of these books don't match the cultural diversity of my students or suit their reading level needs. You can help to expand their love for reading. They will have a comfy set of chairs in which to read the books that will engage and stimulate their imaginations. The requested enrichment kits will help develop their overall reading comprehension skills. Adding these engaging books to their library will help them gain reading fluency, add to their background knowledge, and encourage their love for reading.
