Because my students are out of school for the year because of Covid-19, we are trying to do what we can to stay connected and continue learning. However, most of my students do not have a computer to access their materials at home. I want to mail each student a copy of my favorite book, Freak the Mighty. I have a packet to send them to complete along with the book. For the few that do have access to Zoom, I want to have weekly book review meetings so we can share and discuss the common themes of love, trust, and friendship in the book.
