Flexible seating in my classroom would allow students to move to an area in the classroom that would best help them facilitate their learning. Many students perform better when they are in a comfortable setting. I want to begin establishing different types of sitting areas for my students to try so that they can find the one best suited for them. By allowing the students a variety of ways to sit in the classroom this allows them to feel like the classroom is like their second home. Students should feel a sense of comfort so that they can perform to their best ability at all times.
