In my district, Kindergarteners are not given devices. They are still being asked to use apps and participate electronically in distance learning since the closure of our schools. Those causes major equity issues amongst students. I'm trying to provide them with as much as I can to close that equity gap. These Chromebooks would give every student in my class access to a high quality, equitable education that they deserve. They would be able to receive instruction from me via their device, would be able to watch videos, participate in class and small group video conferencing, and complete assignments online while we are learning and teaching from home.
