I am asking for these items to make my classroom more functional for my first grade students. Since I will be transitioning from a 6th grade to a 1st grade teacher, I would like to provide my students with a place to gather on the floor in a comfortable environment. I also want my students to be comfortable as we gather for small groups in both reading and math. Creating a comfortable, inviting environment for my students is my main priority as I begin the school year. I want my students to visit their new classroom and know it was designed especially for their needs and to positively inspire their learning experience.
