Students in grades K-12 have been subjected to learning online during the COVID-19 pandemic.   Although our students struggle academically, during this crisis, many families have pulled it together and have made great efforts to continue learning despite the circumstances we are all facing. This shows the students' dedication to education and a love of learning! While it would be so easy for my students to give up hope, many of them have told me how much they miss school and are ready to come back.  These Chromebooks will allow students who do not have technology due to their financial situations to participate in virtual learning. This way they can see their friends and teachers through virtual platforms engage in activities and online resources being provided by our school and continue to learn from home. Not only will these Chromebooks offer a chance to fill the gap of the deficit that our world is about to face because of this virus, but they will also offer students hope, comfort, and encouragement during these uncharted waters.

About my class
