Upbeat and deeply inquisitive, my students enjoy exploring and discussing literature in small intimate reading groups, as well as larger Socratic seminars. They not only analyze character motives and plot, but also connect the nuances of literature to their personal lives and community at large. They do not back down from difficult conversations, but happily engage in discourse. Like other students their age, they joke, play, and laugh. But, they also demonstrate a wisdom beyond their years. They are truly inspiring students who strive to do their best each day for themselves, their family, and the betterment of their community.
