Nearpod offers a digital platform that allows the learning to extend beyond the four walls of a "normal" classroom. This digital platform supports interactive learning in my Humanities classroom by delivering culturally relevant meaningful lessons in English Language Arts, World History, Geography, Economics and Government. I can easily differentiate my lessons to serve all of my students' needs. It will help me be a more effective remote teacher to all my students by allowing me to catch and correct any student misconceptions on the lesson individually, but allowing the rest of the class to continue the assigned lesson. The huge variety of class lessons and the ability to offer access to learning through individualized student pacing is outstanding on Nearpod! With Nearpod students can collaborate remotely and have a level of connection for both my students being taught live in person and the students learning remotely at home.
