COVID-19 quarantine shouldn't mean that students should get stuck without learning! Our goal is to make sure that our scholars have everything that they need to complete work packets while on quarantine so that when school restarts in the Fall they are 100% ready to move forward to the next grade without hesitation. Your support and donation will make that happen! Our students come from low income areas and generally can't afford all of the supplies necessary to get them through the school year, but have a heart for learning. With the suddenness of quarantine and resources needing to be diverted to the maintenance of shelter and acquisition of food, the requested school supplies cannot be procured by our families. These supplies will give our scholars and their families the confidence to move forward into this new system of distance learning. The noteboooks, pencils and erasers will give our scholars the space to retell, using supporting details, the stories that they will be reading in comprehension passages. The base ten sets will help our scholars visualize their math problems and solve them correctly with confidence while understanding concepts. Your help is greatly appreciated!
