Due to the variety of special needs, my students all require sensory as part of their daily learning. My goal is to set up a sensory nook in my classroom, an inviting special place for students to calm, take a break, and self regulate. I currently have a spot in mind. It has a fluffy rug and a rocking chair, but that is all. I would love my sensory area to be filled with a variety of items that my students can choose and use. These sensory items will greatly enhance their behavior, attention, and focus. Thank you very much.
