In our classroom Play to Learn Stations, I encourage group communication, cooperative learning, developing creativity, independence, and building social skills; empathy, negotiation, and collaboration. The Lego Starter Kit will surely lend to all these skills. I would say, at least half of my scholars don't have many or any toys at home. I would love to give my scholars the opportunity to work with Legos. This play would bring fun, joy and learning. I finish Play to Learn Stations with acknowledging individual scholars and examples of how I noticed essential skills. I also use evidence from Stations for authentic assessments. I can hardly wait to see the joyful learning!
