The use of tablets in our poetry club will inspire and encourage students to continue writing. Students tend to be more engaged when using technology. I truly believe that it will enhance their poetry writing to new levels. Some of my students when on their own, write their poems on their phones. I know that with the tablets students more quickly will write out their feelings and be more passionate about writing because my students love to integrate their learning and writing with technology. I want you to help me give my students the opportunity that most other students have. Since we are in an urban setting our resources are scarce and our students do not get to enjoy the availability of technology as other school districts do. Please help elevate the voices of my students through their writing and may their voices be heard.
