In my class we have a high number of students but also a lot of students with individual needs. To help each English language learner, we need to make an environment as customized as their needs. With these small table desks, I will be able to move students around and create new seating arrangements to customize their small group and whole group instruction. My students are not only second language learners but they also have specific special needs. Right now we have five larger tables for students to sit at; however, four of the five are currently broken, being held up by books under the legs. Even though the tables are larger, my kids still don't have enough room for projects and their own personal space.
