Our district's English language learning population is rapidly growing. I want my students to have access to the most up-to-date technology in my classroom so that I can support all of my learners in various ways. Although we are extremely fortunate to have 1:1 Chromebooks, there are some features that are lacking on those devices. For the students working so hard in our classroom to learn English, having an iPad would benefit them immensely, as they would be able to translate text that is on paper and in books instead of having to type everything into Google Translate. This would enable those students to dedicate more of their time to meaningful learning.

About my class
