These stories will provide my students with many opportunities to engage in deeper thinking, use rich text to model reading and writing skills, and will provide me with a platform to incorporate STEAM challenges in my classroom. Creativity, collaboration, and a love of learning is something I strive to foster in my classroom each day. Storybook and STEAM allows my students to work together with their classmates. This is a time when students with varying abilities and interests come together over their shared love of creating, listening to stories, and problem solving. Additionally, the STEAM tools will be used daily for 'morning collaboration'. Students work together to create endless possibilities while helping to develop their fine motor skills.
