My students have many needs, sensory needs being one of them. We have extreme behaviors in my room. Many of the behaviors can be solved by allowing students to do calming activities. I want to give my students multiple sensory areas in my classroom. The sensory walls an areas will help my students be more successful and meet their needs. My students have shown a decrease in behaviors and an increase in success when we provide them with these outlets. My students would use these areas multiple times a day. Creating more than one area will allow for more than one student to get their needs met at one time.
