The tent will make a difference in my classroom because it will allow my students a place away from their peers for them to calm down when they are upset or aggravated. I believe that having a calm down corner in my classroom will help my students emotional needs and allow them not to get into trouble as much. The cool down center will allow my students to have different stress relieving items to choose from when they need them. It will allow me to keep items in this area to have for my students' needs. The lights will be able to create a calming environment for the students to calm down and relax when their emotions get the best of them.

About my class
