My students enjoy a flexible open learning environment. I currently have different options and I want to expand on what I have seen work for my teaching methods. My kids love to sit on the floor and do their work and I would love for them to be able to have a rug to sit on. They have tried to use regular chairs to sit at the counter, which is why I have requested some bar stools. I have seen children more open in my math class simply because they do not have to sit in their old fashion desks and be uncomfortable. My students are very diverse and I try my best to allow them as much freedom as it takes for them to be productive.
