My students love being creative and exploring the word around them through hands on learning. Since my students are visually impaired, it is important that they have access to materials that they can explore through feel. These art materials will provide that opportunity! Tactile exploring is key for my students to help make connections and make the concepts more meaningful for them. These materials will help them construct buildings and learn about the community. In addition, this will help them when exploring the community on orientation and mobility activities because they will already be familiar with key vocabulary from building their community with the art supplies from this project. Thank you for your support and helping us have a creative way to engage in our word. We appreciate it!

About my class
