My students are impacted by various disabilities that can sometimes make traditional methods of learning difficult for my students. Tasks that we take for granted like gripping a pencil, writing on a flat surface or flipping through a book can cause frustration and anxiety for my students. iPads are an excellent tool for differentiation in the classroom and help my students learn technology skills on top of academics. iPads can also serve as a more portable and accessible form of communication for non-verbal students. These tools will help my students grow and gain more confidence and independence in their work as we progress throughout the school year.
