Every day we do activities that involve making things, writing, and learning to read. Students stay busy all day with hands on activities to keep their attention and gain knowledge. We learn about life cycles, our body, healthy habits, and safety such as fire safety. We discuss respect, responsibility, and caring for others. Students learn to share and be helpful to one another. Our day is full. We address bullying and how to be a friend. There are high expectations in the classroom. Every child is exposed to all levels of learning and thrive. We also use laptops for reading and math. My classroom and my students are my passion and driving force in my career.
