My classroom represents our ever growing diverse population. Within these various cultures and backgrounds, the love for reading is shared between them. Reading is something that ALL of my students have in common. Sharing laughs and stories about their favorite books is a daily thing for my students! Having culturally diverse books will help my students see themselves as not only book characters but authors as well! I want to saturate my library with these kinds of books! Help me give students an opportunity to celebrate who they are and the others around them in the books that they read!
